Pursuant to the Land Recycling and Environmental Remediation Standards Act (Act), the act of May 19, 1995, P.L. 4, No. 1995-2., notice is hereby given that Beneficial Bank has submitted to the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection a Notice of Intent to Remediate a site located at 2514 Aramingo Avenue, Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania. This Notice of Intent to Remediate states that the site is a Beneficial Bank branch located within the footprint of the former Anzon Lead Smelter Site. Recent sampling conducted by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection and Langan Engineering and Environmental Services, Inc. in the area identified the presence of lead at concentrations that exceed the Non-Residential Direct Contact Criteria. Beneficial plans to use the site-specific remediation standard/pathway elimination at the site. Beneficial Bank has indicated that proposed remediation measures will be in accordance with approved methodologies identified by PADEP.
The Act provides for a 30-day public comment period for site-specific standard remediation. The 30-day comment period is initiated with the publication of this notice. The City of Philadelphia may submit a request to Beneficial Bank to be involved in the development of the remediation and reuse plans for the site. The City of Philadelphia may also submit a request to Beneficial during this 30-day comment period to develop and implement a public involvement plan. Copies of these requests and of any comments should also be submitted to the Department of Environmental Protection at 2 East Main Street, Norristown, PA 19401 to the attention of Ragesh R. Patel. DVRPC will open a public comment period on December 7, 2017 for the Draft FY 2019 Planning Work Program. This document outlines all of the federally-funded planning projects slated for the nine-county region from July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2019. The Work Program is developed annually by the DVRPC Board with its planning partners to reflect the region's short-range planning needs.
Electronic copies of DVRPC's Draft Work Program are available on DVRPC's website: http://www.dvrpc.org/workprogram/. Hardcopies of DVRPC's Draft Work Program are available in the DVRPC Resource Center and in a number of regional libraries. SERVICES
Notice is hereby given that sealed qualifications and proposals will be received by the School District of Philadelphia, Office of Capital Programs, from all firms interested in providing Professional Water Testing Program Management Services.
The RFQ/P documents and all additional information published as part of the RFQ/P may be obtained by going to the following website:

All questions must be submitted in writing via email to Jerry Thompson, Contracts Manager at gcthompson@philasd.org. The e-mail must include the name of the RFP "Water Testing Program Management RFP."
The deadline for all questions is 2:00 pm, Wednesday, January 3, 2018.
Proposals must be received no later than 2:00 pm, Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at location designated in RFP.
