The Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission (DVRPC) will open public comment periods for the following documents: Draft Fiscal Year (FY) 2015-2018 Pennsylvania Transportation Improvement Program (TIP); draft amendment to the DVRPC Connections 2040 Long-Range Plan (Plan); and the Draft Transportation Conformity Finding for the Draft FY 2015 Pennsylvania TIP, the draft Plan amendment, and the FY 2014 New Jersey TIP. The public comment period for the draft Pennsylvania TIP will open on May 30, 2014 and close at 5 p.m., June 30, 2014. The public comment period for the draft Plan amendment and the draft Transportation Conformity Finding will open on June 16, 2014 and close at 5 p.m., July 18, 2014. THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA, PHILADELPHIA COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA
On or about June 20, 2014, Waste Management of Pennsylvania, Inc. (Waste Management) will submit a permit renewal application and a major permit modification application to the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) for the municipal waste transfer facility located at 3605 Grays Ferry Avenue, Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania. These permit applications will be submitted to the DEP as two separate documents. The permit renewal application requests approval to extend the operating term of the Philadelphia Transfer Station and Recycling Center permit for an additional 10 years. The major permit modification requests approval to increase the maximum daily waste volume from 1,900 tons/day to 2,500 tons/day without an increase to the current DEP limitation on the total number of vehicles allowed to access the site and without changing the facility's operating hours.
Copies of these applications are available for review and copying at the DEP Waste Management Program, Southeast Regional Office, 2 East Main Street, Norristown, PA 19401. Fees for copying may be charged by the DEP, and an appointment must be made with the DEP to review the applications. Copies of the applications will also be provided by the DEP to the City of Philadelphia and Philadelphia County. The host municipality and county may submit recommendations for permit conditions, revisions, permit approval or disapproval, and other comments to the DEP within 60 days of receipt of the applications. The DEP will also accept and consider comments from the public during the permit review period. PUBLIC NOTICE
AT&T intends to submit a Section 106 submission for a modification to an existing telecommunication facility (North Philadelphia Airport) at 9101 Bartram Avenue, Philadelphia, PA. AT&T is publishing this notice in accordance with federal regulation 37CFR 1.1307, the NEPA and the ACHP 36 CFR 800. Nine (9) antennas will be replaced on the 152 foot electrical transmission pole, with tip heights of 139 and 145 feet.
