THE DELAWARE VALLEY REGIONAL PLANNING COMMISSION ANNOUNCES FOR PUBLIC REVIEW: • Draft DVRPC Connections 2045 Long-Range Plan (LRP) • Draft Transportation Conformity Demonstration: Draft Connections 2045 LRP, Draft DVRPC FY 2018 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) for New Jersey, and DVRPC FY 2017 TIP for Pennsylvania The Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission (DVRPC) is seeking your input and will open a public comment period for the above documents. The Draft DVRPC Connections 2045 LRP and Draft Transportation Conformity Demonstration will be available for public comment from September 1, 2017 until October 4, 2017 at 5:00 PM local time. The Connections 2045 Long-Range Plan identifies strategies and policies to achieve regional land use, environmental, economic, equity, and transportation goals. This important policy document will guide planning, growth, and investment in the nine-county region over the next 28 years. The Plan prioritizes transportation investments and enables our region to receive over a billion dollars annually in federal transportation funding. This Transportation Conformity Demonstration is required due to the anticipated adoption of Connections 2045 LRP, anticipated adoption of a new FY 2018 TIP for New Jersey (currently out for public comment) and the addition of regionally significant and nonexempt projects being amended to the FY 2017 TIP for Pennsylvania. Transportation Conformity is conducted to ensure transportation investments conform to the Federal Clean Air Act, and demonstrate that a proposed plan or project will not negatively impact a region's ability to meet or maintain federal air quality standards. Please join DVRPC at one of the two public meeting/information sessions on the Draft DVRPC Connections 2045 LRP and Draft Transportation Conformity Demonstration: Monday, September 18, 2017 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Collingswood Senior Community Center 30 W.
