These funds will be used together with other funds to facilitate the acquisition and rehabilitation of Pleasant Valley Apartments, with 41 total rental units of general occupancy affordable housing.
Pleasant Valley Apartments is located in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania at 101-107 East Hector Street, 113-131 East Hector Street, 68-74 Ash Street and 37-43 Harry Street, Conshohocken, PA 19428.

NOTICE
Pursuant to the Land Recycling and Environmental Remediation Standards Act, the act of May 19, 1995, P.L. 4, No. 1995-2. ("Act 2"), notice is hereby given that Bemis Healthcare Packaging, Inc. ("Bemis") has submitted to the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection ("PADEP") a Notice of Intent to Remediate ("NIR") a site located at 9800 Bustleton Avenue and 1701 Fulmer Street, City of Philadelphia. This NIR states that the site was a former light industrial and warehouse facility. Site soils and groundwater have been found to be impacted with volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and metals. Bemis has indicated that the proposed remediation measures will consist of pathway elimination. The proposed future use of the property will be non-residential for use as a light industrial facility.
Bemis plans to use the statewide health and site-specific standards at the site. The Act provides for a 30-day public comment period for site-specific standard remediations. The 30-day comment period is initiated with the publication of this notice. Until March 22, 2017, the City of Philadelphia may submit a request to Bemis to be involved in the development of the remediation and reuse plans for the site. The City of Philadelphia may also submit a request to Bemis during this 30-day comment period to develop and implement a public involvement plan. Copies of these requests and of any comments should also be submitted to PADEP, Southeast Regional Office, 2 East Main Street, Norristown, PA 19401.

Philadelphia Authority for Industrial Development (the "Authority") will hold a public hearing on March 7, 2017, at 10:00 A.M. prevailing time, at the offices of Philadelphia Industrial Development Corporation located at 1500 Market St., Suite 2600 West, Philadelphia, PA 19102 to discuss the issuance by the Authority of its revenue bonds (the "Bonds") to provide funds, which will be used to finance all or a portion of the following project (the "Project"):
A. Owner: University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, a Pennsylvania nonprofit corporation exempt from Federal income taxation under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended.
B. Maximum Amount of Bonds: $65,000,000
C. Description of Project: (i) finance the cost of the construction, furnishing and equipping of an approximately 218-unit, 426-bed suite style student housing facility to be located on the campus of the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia (the "University") and certain other educational facilities and related amenities and improvements, (ii) the funding of other capital expenditures for facilities owned and operated by the University, (iii) finance the costs of the acquisition and construction of certain connecting utility improvements, (iv) fund interest on the Bonds during the period of construction of the Project and up to six months thereafter, (v) fund necessary reserves for the Bonds, (vi) finance certain start-up costs and related working capital for the Project, and (vii) pay the costs of issuance of the Bonds.
D. Location of Project: The facilities are located at the corner of Woodland Avenue and 46th Street (4514-22 Woodland Avenue) and at 600 South 43rd Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19104.
At the public hearing, any and all persons in attendance will be afforded an opportunity to comment on the proposed Project and the issuance by the Authority of its Bonds therefor.
